Come fossero petali secchi,
di fiore umano
cade pelle, svolazza,
sostenta il vento.
Si misurano le giornate
nel tempo del dolore,
o della sua assenza.
E sanare dentro ciò che si vede fuori,
– o quel che appare –
è la scommessa.
Poi,
senza preavviso,
tutto si rimargina
il fiore risorge dalla cenere;
indenne.
Se non altro, sembra.

BLOOM
As they were dried petals,
of human flower
skin falls, flits,
sustains the wind.
Days are being measured
in the time of suffering,
or of its absence.
And healing inside what it is seen outside,
– or what appears –
is the gamble.
Then,
without warning,
everything is healed
the flower resurrects from the ashes;
intact.
Or at least, so it seems.
