ECCEDENZA/EXCESS

Alla sommità dei sentimenti
ascoltare troneggiare l’amore
quello dei due, quello gregario
decurta, per il disinteresse,
la grazia pregevole,
anche per l’indifferenza limita
il mitico gusto, il prode silenzio.
Gretto amore, questo amore
– quasi disamore –
che ancora necessita
argomentazione e che
non conosce l’appagamento
di chi ignora cosa sia, e vive
traspare
ed esagera.

EXCESS

At the summit of the feelings
listening to the domination of love
one of the two, the gregarious one
it reduces, due to the disinterest,
the exquisite grace,
also because of the indifference it limits
the mythical taste, the valiant silence.
Petty love, this love
– almost disaffection –
that still needs
argumentation and that
doesn’t know the satisfaction
of those who ignore what it is, and it lives
and shines through
and exaggerates.

In the air, as always, distracted.
