Io non ci riesco… Vorrei invece fare come fai tu, anche se a dire il vero non sembravi una persona di sonno pesante… Ed eccoti qui! Dormi!… Dormi? E sì… dormi. Avrei voluto dirti tante cose… Beh… Te le dirò domani… Speriamo bene per il risveglio… Avrei voluto chiederti cosa prendi per colazione… Caffè o tè? Latte, biscotti o preferisci il pane? Ahhhh! Non immaginavo rimanessi a dormire quindi ho soltanto quei biscotti che fa mia madre. Buonissimi! Te ne ho parlato quando siamo stati insieme in quell’incontro sul cibo vegano… Secondo me non te lo ricordi! Hai criticato tutto! Avrei anche voluto chiederti se veramente hai desiderato rimanere a dormire ma… non mi hai dato il tempo… Già dormi! E poi… tra poco è domenica quindi… Pranziamo insieme? Ho notato che ti piace il cinema quindi, se non potessi pranzare, si potrebbe decidere per un cinema di pomeriggio… Fa talmente caldo che non è male stare al fresco in una sala cinematografica… Infatti… Mi dispiace che tu non voglia andare al mare perché non sarebbe male… ma no… ho capito male… È di giorno che tu non vai al mare ma di sera, il mare ti piace… Vero? Mi sembra di parlare tra me e me… Sai che non ci posso credere che tu dorma… Stai fingendo? Vediamo… Vediamo se ti tento… Tu mi piaci… (Lunga attesa) Non dici niente? (Attesa lunghissima) Sei una bellissima sorpresa! Io come ti sembro? (Silenzio profondo) Non funziona… Va bene! Te la sei proprio cercata! (Sussurrato all’orecchio altrui) Ti voglio bene!

-Mi piace il tè, vanno bene i biscotti di tua madre, mi ricordo dell’incontro falsamente vegano, mi sembri splendido, sei anche tu una bella sorpresa, ok per il pranzo e per il cinema ma… Non ho finto!
-E perché non hai risposto?
-Ho sonno.
-Perché?
-Ma che domanda è?
-Ma no! Non puoi avere sonno! Non abbiamo molto tempo… Dobbiamo dormire poco!
-Io non dormo molto…
-Allora devi dormire meno!

-Ci abbiamo messo troppo tempo per incontrarci, incominciano i tempi di recupero!
-Ti prego no! Questa premessa alla nostra età non è accettabile!

-Dammi una ragione è prometto che non mi addormento…

-Are you sleeping? (Silence) Already sleeping? (Silence) What a wonderful thing to sleep fast! I can’t… I would like to do as you do, even though to tell the truth you didn’t seem a heavy sleeper! You are sleeping!… Are you sleeping? Well yes… you are. I wanted to tell you many things… Well… I will tell you tomorrow… Let’s hope everything goes well when you wake… I wanted to ask you what you have for breakfast Coffee or tea? Milk, cookies or you’d rather like bread? Ahhhh! I didn’t expect you would stay so I have only those cookies that my mother does. Very good! I have told you about them when we went together to that meeting on vegan food… I think you don’t remember it! I would have like to ask you if you really wanted to sleep over but… you haven’t given me the time… You are already sleeping! And then… it’s almost Sunday so… Shall we have lunch together? I have noticed that you like the cinema so, if you could not eat, we could decided for a movie in the afternoon… It’s so hot that is not so bad to stay cool in a movie theater… As a fact… I am sorry that you don’t want to go to the sea because I wouldn’t be bad but in the evening, you like the sea…Right? It seem I am talking to me myself… You know I can’t believe you are sleeping… Are you pretending? Let’s see… Let’s see if I can feel you… I like you… (Long pause) You are not going to say anything?
